Abilene.jpg

Abilene

Abilene loves all of the dogs in her foster home, no matter how big or small.  She is doing great on her house training, and loves playing with her foster dad.  She enjoys couch cuddles with her foster parents every evening.

Alamo.jpg

Alamo

Alamo has come a long way since he arrived at CCAA. He is one of many dogs from a hoarding case but luckily, this angel loves treats and we have been able to win him over.  He is learning how to play and doing much better on his house training. He is very very attached to his buddy Tex and we would love to see them adopted together.  He would do best in a home that is quite and has no small kids.

Anastasia 2.jpg

Anastasia

Anastasia is such a sweetheart, and loves affection.  She is crate trained, and knows how to use a dog door.  She still has no interest in getting on the couches or beds, but she really loves her soft bed.  Anastasia is great with all of the dogs in her foster home, from 5 lbs to 150 lbs.

Angelo.jpg

Angelo

This handsome little guy is Angelo. He is very playful and extremely sweet. His hair is pretty short right now, since he was very matted when we got him, but he feels so much better.

Anna.jpg

Anna

Anna is one of the most feral pups we have ever met. It is taking time, but she is now curious about us and happy to see us. She is very young and has had a litter of pups. We all love her and enjoy watching her improve daily

Aria.jpg

Aria

Aria was pulled from a kill shelter in Georgia after everyone saw how very sweet she is.  She is so hard to photograph because she wants to be up close to you. She needs to be an only dog.  She is doing well on crate training.

Bessie.jpg

Bessie

Bessie was pulled from Baldwin Animal Shelter in Milledgeville, Georgia. She had a badly embedded collar and was terrified of everyone. She is now completely healed, and loves attention. She is a little crate aggressive with strangers, but is making strides daily. Out of her crate, she loves the ladies but shows fear with men. She is young and has lots of energy so will need an active family. Bessie is two years old and weighs about 40 pounds.

Bruiser1.jpg

Bruiser

Bruiser is one of 50 dogs from a hoarder case in Macon, Georgia. He is extremely shy, but handsome and sweet. He loves hanging out with the other dogs in his foster home.  He is making huge strides every day in accepting people. He needs a home with confident happy dogs to help him adjust.  He will have to have another dog to make him comfortable and a fenced in yard.

Chester 2.jpg

Chester

This sweet boy is Chester. He is a seven year old Puggle. He is very sweet, cute, and house trained. He is a bit selfish with his treats and toys and would do best as an only dog and no small kids.

Chloe_edited.jpg

Chloe

Meet our Chloe. She is a tiny feral chihuahua. She has spent a lot of her life in a back yard all alone. Luckily, she is not a biter. I hope we can get her turned around quickly and into a loving family.

ccaaflower6.jpg

Flower

Flower is very outgoing and energetic. We are starting her leash training and she is doing very well on her crate training. She is dog-friendly and adores people!!

Helios.jpg

Helios

This beautiful boy is Helios. He is a one year old boy that is super affectionate and sooooooooo very funny. He does well with most of the other dogs but especially loves people.  He has a scar on his forehead from being hit by a car, but we think that adds character.

Jane.jpg

Jane

Our Jane arrived heartworm positive and with a newly amputated leg. To say she did not like us much is an understatement. We have poured a lot of love and care into her and have watched her learn to play and get excited to see us.  She is still afraid of strangers but is making more and more progress every day. Jane has been treated for heartworms and is now negative.

JB.jpg

JB

JB is a very smart dog that has a working drive. He is excellent on a leash, crate and house trained and very affectionate. He does have issues with his hearing. He would be a great dog for an active person. No children or dogs.

Lily.jpg

Lily

Lily is a very shy precious girl that needs to be an only dog.  She will need lots of time to chill on the couch and just be with you. We do not recommend her with small children.

Logi.jpg

Logi

Logi came from Athens, Georgia. He arrived with burns on his ears, deaf, and blind. We feel like he is a victim of fireworks. He is a very sweet boy.

Roadie.jpg

Roadie

Roadie is a cruelty case out of Peach County Georgia. He was almost dead from starvation, worms, and dehydration when his owner moved and left him chained to die. He has really come around since gaining weight and being treated for heartworms. He needs a home without small children and a strong leader. He is beautiful!!!!!!!! We have not dog tested him yet but he seems to like most of the dogs at the rescue. He is about five years old.

Rosie.jpg

Rosie

Rosie was adopted out when she was a tiny baby and her name was Smashley Simpson. She was later returned to us because their other dog kept attacking her and Rosie finally said enough. She is an outgoing and friendly girl. She is smart and learns the routine easily. She can be a little stubborn so she would do best in a home that has experience with dogs and older kids. Rosie is house and crate trained. She is about three years old and weighs about 65 pounds. She needs to be an only dog.

Teeny.jpg

Teeny

Teeny and her friend Tiny came from a breeding case in Macon, Georgia.  They were very skinny and sick when they arrived but are blossoming into beautiful little babies. They are still afraid of people but coming out of their shells more and more every day.

Tex.jpg

Tex

Our sweet Tex is from a Jones County Hoarding case. He is blossoming and not nearly as afraid as he was.  He has been treated for heartworms and is now negative.. He is getting more playful everyday and looks for his petting time when he comes in from the bathroom. His best buddy is Alamo and we are hoping to place them in homes together.

Tiny.jpg

Tiny

Tiny and his friend Teeny came to us from a breeding situation in Macon, Georgia. Both were very thin and had horrible skin. They were terrified of us but are letting us pet them and run out to greet us now.  They will need a patient family to earn their love and trust.
